Skoolkit Supports Small Business Saturday UK in Havant and Basingstoke

The campaign encourages businesses to promote themselves and work with other small businesses, and consumers to �shop local� and support small businesses in their communities.

Cllr David Guest, portfolio holder for economic development at Havant Borough Council, said: �Small Business Saturday is a great opportunity for shoppers to support over 700 independent small businesses in the borough�s town centres, with free parking (for 3 hours) encouraging more people to come and see what they have to offer�.

Kieron Davidson added �Small businesses offer a boost to the local economy, and this is a great initiative to enhance sales and footfall in the shopping centre on this, one of the busiest shopping days of the year. I'm delighted our local MP Alan is supporting this�.
